I changed a few things on my blog. First I altered the theme of the blog. It looks clean now. I then changed the picture I used in the header. I put a picture that my boyfriend took on a recent trip to the Philadelphia of the city skyline. I updated my about us page. I also added two widgets. Search and recent posts will help the reader navigate the page with ease. I then changed my gravatar picture for my page. I updated the category secion of the blog. I changed all of the categories to TWC301. The audience for my blog is my twc class students and instructors. I hope they will find these changes useful because I attempted to make my page more reader friendly.

In terms of learning about composing, what did you specifically work on to improve during this project? Do you feel you succeeded in improving your composing processes or skills? What composing processes or skills will you work on during your next project?
What course outcomes did you work towards during this project? Do you feel you achieved them? How do you know? What evidence does either your process or product for this current writing provide towards demonstrating your achievement of a course outcome? What outcomes do you think you will work on in your next project?
To complete the project, I read the project prompt and decided that I had a few questions. I emailed the group and our instructor to clarify my questions. Rochelle drafted the project first and then the rest of the group reviewed and edited it. The project was emailed back to Rochelle who submitted the project.
If I were to complete the project again I would start it earlier If our group had emailed each other earlier in the week then it wouldn’t have been so last minute. We would have more time to work as a group and to make revisions together.
For the next project, I will definitely start earlier to have even more group collaboration.
I am most proud of the overall project. Rochelle did a great job on the first draft of the proposal that made it easy for the rest of the team to help with the revisions and final draft. I liked working with my team.
As for the course outcomes I think that we worked towards defining the purpose of the document for an intended audience. With this project we also wrote in multiple genres. It also took multiple drafts to create and complete a successful document. Technology was one of the main components in the memo. We used email to collaborate as a team.
The next project will continue to work on the same course outcomes as this project.

5 04 2010What were the steps you took to complete the entire project #3? How might you change your process if you were to complete the project again? What steps do you think you will take for your next project?
There were many steps to complete project 3. I created the documents, tested the documents and wrote the project document. It was quite a process.
If I could do it all over again I would start this project a little earlier. I always put everything off to the last minute and then
stress myself over meeting deadlines. It’s frustrating but I only have myself to blame!

I am very proud of my project. I am proud of the finished project and i think that I did a pretty good job. I think that I could of reworked the design a bit if I had more time on the project. It was a long project but I finished it sucessfully.

Composing documents is an aquired skill. I think that you learn as you go and every document you produce becomes alittle better. Constuctive critism is also a great way to help produce documents.Everyone has different ideas and the can provide insight on your project. I think that I have learned to produce and effectively designed product. Im am still working on my composing skill but I think I am getting there. I would always like to design incredible works of art but sometimes you have to try and try again. Different design elements work in different documents.

I feel that we are always working toward achieving out course outcomes with every project and assignment. The course outcomes we worked towards in this project were those found under the processes category. I believe by creating multiple drafts of a document we are producing more effect documents. We are developing flexible strategies for generating, revising, editing, and proof-reading. We are understanding the collaborative and social aspects of research and writing processes. We are using appropriate technologies to manage data and information collected or generated for future use. I think that if you look at how our work is progressing with each project you will see that we are meeting the course outcomes. I think that we will work towards the course outcomes in the Knowledge of Conventions category in our next project.
